Switching To Microthought Network

Switching Internet Service Providers is a lot easier than most people think.

Take a look below to see the steps, and the necessary precautions, you should consider when switching to Microthought Network for your Internet service.

We recommend you follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition from your current provider to us.

  1. Completely set up your internet service account with us. Setting up your account can be done in a matter of minutes through our Online Signup Process.
  2. After you've completed the signup process, disconnect from the internet and connect using your new Microthought Network account. This is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your new account. Learn more about connecting to the Internet by visiting our HelpCenter.
  3. Setup your new email address in the emailing program that you normally use, like Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express for instance. Learn more about setting up your email by visiting our HelpCenter.
*If you normally use a web-based email client like MSN, don't worry: we offer that too, and its ready to be used immediately after signing up. Learn more about Webmail by visiting our HelpCenter.
  4. If you are using a Web-mail client (like MSN) with your current provider, make sure you move all your contacts over to your new Microthought Network Webmail account. Once you cancel your old account, then you may not be able to access your contacts list and that information will be lost.
  5. Now that your email is all set up, and you have moved all your contacts over, you should give your new email address to your friends and family. This way you will avoid any missing any emails.
  6. Now that you're satisfied with your new Microthought Network account and your email is all set up, you're free to cancel your old account at any time. To make life easier, here is a list of common Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and the phone numbers to call for cancellation.

If you follow the above steps whenever switching providers, you will avoid any small catastrophes. Good Luck!
